Vote Poster — OCTOBER '16
Programs used: Photoshop and Illustrator
Instructor: Annabelle Gould
Goal: This poster was created for a class on typography in which the focus of the project was to create a typographic poster to get people out to vote. It could be neutral or have political sway.
Process: I obviously have an opinion, and I am aware that a majority of Seattlites are of the same mind as me. I drew inspiration from old political cartoons of the 1800s which tend to be wordy (so it fit my typographic needs) and give a nod to the fact that we might as well be back in the 1800s at this point. If you were wondering, I would like to run to New Zealand, should the opportunity present itself.
