Goal: The goal of this project was to design a typeface inspired by whatever example signage or text we were given. In my group's case, it was the hand-carved text of a German gravestone. We had to adapt the letters given as well as create the other letters by hand in the same style.

Process: Since this was a group project, the most challenging part was coordinating the group so the letters and symbols we designed were in sync. Most of the process entailed drawing and redrawing the letters, then coming together to see how they needed to be changed for better cohesion. The photos below show our process sketches and process vectors during the designing.
